The Art Cipher
Store title: The Art Cipher: Museum Heist. An offline observation puzzle for Android,
in development and not yet released.
You play a thief locked in a pitch-black gallery. A painting hangs on the easel and a row of
written riddles sits beneath it. Sweep the flashlight across the canvas, work out what each
riddle describes and count it, then set those counts on the dials and pull the latch.
- 24 handcrafted vaults across six supplied paintings; the catalogue grows as art is added.
- Four tiers — LEARN, NORMAL, HARD and MASTER — each with its own beam width, battery and miss limit.
- Written in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose. Sound effects are synthesised at runtime; the app ships two media files, the music and the intro film.
- Plays fully offline. No account, no sign-in, no telemetry.
- One opt-in rewarded video, the only ad format in the app, refills the daily helpers.
- Verified by 303 JVM unit tests.
