Privacy policy: Visual Ideas

The short version

• No account is needed.
• Visual Ideas does not collect, transmit or sell your personal data.
• Your projects, media, brand profiles and settings stay on your own PC.
• The app does not use the microphone or camera.
• Microsoft handles purchases and refunds in the Microsoft Store.

Data stored on your PC

The app stores the following on your computer:

• project folders you create, including project.json and the media files inside assets/;
• the recent-project list and thumbnails;
• unsaved recovery copies;
• brand profiles;
• app settings such as the export allowance and backup preferences.

These files are under your control. Uninstalling the app does not delete your project folders. Microsoft Store uninstall may remove the app-data folder, including the local free-export counter; this is described in the app's licence and support pages.

No project content, media, voiceover, settings or usage history is uploaded to me or to a third party by the app. The app does not contain analytics, advertising, telemetry or crash-reporting services.

Purchases

Paid export credits are consumable add-ons sold by Microsoft through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft processes the payment, keeps the balance and handles refunds under the Microsoft Store terms and privacy statement. I receive the Store product and balance information needed to show your credits and report fulfilment; I do not receive your payment card details.

Microphone and camera

The app does not request or use microphone, camera or screen-capture permission. Audio is added by uploading files from your PC.

Website and support email

If you visit visual-ideas.eu, the website's own hosting and privacy notices apply. If you email support, I receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. I use them only to answer your request and keep them only as long as needed for support and legal obligations. I do not add support contacts to marketing lists.

Legal basis and your rights

Where the GDPR applies, I process support correspondence on the basis of my legitimate interest in answering customers and, where relevant, to perform a contract. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You can also complain to the Romanian data-protection authority, the ANSPDCP.

Children

Visual Ideas is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at visual-ideas.eu/visual-ideas/privacy and included in the app's Help pages. The effective date above will change.
