Social Calendar
Three walkthroughs using only what the calendar does today.
1. Set up your first content calendar
about 5 minutes
Getting a real week of content planned, from nothing.
- 1Create your workspaceOpen the calendar and create a client. If this is just for yourself, name it after your own brand.
- 2Add your first entryPick tomorrow's date, choose the platform you post on most, and write a one-line caption idea. Leave the status as Idea for now.
- 3Add four or five moreSpread them across the coming week, mixing platforms if you use more than one. Don't worry about finishing the captions yet — a rough idea per entry is enough at this stage.
- 4Move your best idea to DraftPick the entry you're most confident about and write the real caption for it, then change its status to Draft.
- 5Check the week at a glanceLook at the calendar view and confirm nothing's bunched up on one day with nothing on others. Move entries around if the spacing looks off.
2. Track performance without waiting on platform analytics
about 5 minutes
Turning a posted update into something you can actually report on.
- 1Post it yourself, on the platformThis tool doesn't publish for you — post as you normally would, directly on Instagram, LinkedIn, or wherever the entry is for.
- 2Come back and mark it PostedFind the entry and change its status. This unlocks the analytics form for that entry.
- 3Enter what you knowFill in whatever numbers are available to you right now — even a rough estimate is more useful than leaving it blank. You can come back and update it later as the numbers settle.
- 4Add a note if it mattersIf there's context worth remembering (a client confirmed the number, something unusual happened with this post), use the notes field rather than trying to remember it later.
- 5Check the report viewSwitch to the report and confirm the numbers you just entered show up in the platform total. This is the same view you'll use monthly once you have several posted entries.
3. Managing multiple clients without mixing up content
about 5 minutes
The workflow for anyone planning content for more than one brand.
- 1Create a second clientUse the client selector to add a new workspace, named for the second brand or client.
- 2Confirm it starts emptySwitch to it and check that none of your first client's entries appear here. Each client is fully separate.
- 3Add a few entries for this clientFollow the same process as tutorial 1, but for this client's platforms and voice.
- 4Switch back and forthUse the client selector to move between the two, and confirm each one shows only its own entries and its own report data.
- 5Build a weekly habitFor ongoing multi-client work, plan one client's week at a time rather than jumping between clients mid-thought — it keeps the voice and content consistent per client.
