Why Visual Ideas exists

Most email tools are built for marketing teams inside a company — dashboards, seats, contact lists, approval workflows nobody asked for. If you're the one person doing the design, the copy, and the sending yourself, none of that fits. You end up fighting a drag-and-drop builder that quietly rewrites your markup, or hand-writing table layouts and hoping Outlook doesn't mangle them.

That's the gap Visual Ideas is built for. I design and build tools like this on my own, and every one of them eventually needed a way to send something that looked genuinely professional to a client. What existed for that was either too basic to trust, or built for a sales floor nobody working solo actually needs.

This started life as a proposal tool — a way to put a clear scope and a price in front of a client and get a yes. Building it made something obvious: the hard part was never the proposal document. It was the email around it, and how bad it looked by the time it reached an inbox. So I rebuilt it as an email template builder — which is where the platform started. Since then it has grown: the email builder is now joined by a social media calendar for planning posts and logging results, and a LinkedIn carousel builder that turns a page into a branded deck. The idea is the same across all three — tools for the one person doing the work, with no seats, no dashboards, and no approval workflows.

All three tools are free and need no account — your work stays in your browser. A single Pro subscription, €7.99 a month, adds the parts that cost real money to run: cloud sync across devices, hosted image uploads, sending straight from the email editor through your own SMTP server, and AI carousel generation. One plan covers the whole platform, so it still looks like it came from you — because it did.

This is a project I design and build myself, one feature at a time. It's still growing, and it'll keep changing as it does.
